This was not the first time we stayed here, but since starting ehotel.hr we now always have to stay in a different hotel! The first time around we were happy with the value we got for this price, so it was an easy pick. But I wonder how it will go once we run out of great hotels we already visited.

I love a big, spacious standing shower, and this room has it! The only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to operate the soap dispenser, it just drove me mad.

The friendly staff are always on hand to assist with any requests, ensuring a personalized experience.
What I also liked was to see some improvements since the last time we were here. The breakfast are on top floor is now repurposed as a lounge area for all the guests, while the breakfast are is now on reception level near the hotel entrance.
The staff was very kind and thoughtful! I was going to pay for the garage, but the young gentleman working in the reception showed me an available parking space right in front of the hotel. I saved only €10 euros (which I gave him when I was paying for the tourist / city tax). So it’s not about the money, it’s the care for the guest, and I really appreciated it.
Dining Options
Breakfast at Hotel 9 is a delight, with a self-service, with “all the usual suspects” as I like to call them. Bacon, eggs, sausages, plenty of fruits and vegetables. The coffee is from the machine, which Diana hates, but it was decent with Lavazza pods.
All in all, a good breakfast with nearby staff ready to serve you an omelet. More than enough to get you going for the day.

One of Hotel 9’s greatest assets is its location. Situated within walking distance of Zagreb’s major attractions, including the stunning Upper Town, the bustling Ban Jelačić Square, and the serene Maksimir Park, guests have easy access to everything the city has to offer. Public transportation options are also nearby, making it convenient for those wishing to explore further afield.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, the main bus station (probably the biggest in Croatia) is just across the street. From there, you can probably get to anywhere in Europe.

During our stay at Hotel 9, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, providing helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining options. (I already mentioned about the parking). We particularly enjoyed the quiet ambiance of our room, which allowed for a peaceful night’s sleep after a busy day of meetings.
